It’s time to start cutting fresh flowers at Parlee Farms! We have flowers throughout the growing season. Our flowers add so much color and beauty to the farm throughout the summer and early fall. Once the garden opens, you can walk through the rows, choose the flowers that catch your eye, and create your own bouquet to bring home. These flowers are great for every day, but you can also cut them fresh for your special occasion. They’re great for parties, weddings, bridal showers, and more.
While here cutting your flowers you can also pick whatever fruit we have available that day, visit the farm stand, enjoy something fresh from the bakery like a fresh baked scone, and explore our other farm activities. Explore Our Cut Your Own Flower Garden
Our two-acre Cut Your Own Flower Garden is filled with many different colors, shapes, and textures. The garden typically opens in mid-July and continues producing flowers into the early fall, depending on the weather and growing conditions.
Some of the flowers you may find include colorful zinnias, elegant dahlias, tall gladiolus, cheerful sunflowers, and more than 20 varieties of filler flowers. Since different flowers bloom throughout the season, the garden may look a little different each time you visit. We always try something new, for the 2026 season we are experimenting with lilies.
Create a Bouquet of Your Own 
One of the best parts of cutting your own flowers is deciding exactly what you would like to bring home. You can choose flowers in your favorite colors, combine different varieties, and add filler flowers to give your bouquet a finished look.
There is no single way to create a beautiful bouquet. Some people enjoy choosing bright colors that stand out, while others prefer flowers with softer shades. You can create something for your kitchen table, bring flowers to someone special, or simply select the blooms that make you happy as you walk through the garden. We provide the bucket and shears you will need while cutting. Once you have finished choosing your flowers, we will wrap your bouquet so it is ready to travel home with you.

The Cut Your Own Flower Garden is only one part of flower season at Parlee Farms. We have flowers like vibrant zinnias, elegant dahlias, towering gladiolus, cheerful sunflowers, and more than 20 unique filler flowers. Also, check out our lilies! They’re new this year.
As summer moves toward fall, our sunflower garden also becomes a beautiful place to visit. The sunflowers are planted in several sections to help create a longer blooming period, usually from early September into October. You can also find freshly picked bouquets in our farm stand during the flower season. These are a great option when you would like to bring home farm-grown flowers but do not have time to cut and arrange your own.
Our flower availability, hours, and picking conditions can change throughout the season. Weather also plays an important role in when the garden opens and which flowers are ready to cut.
