Located by the Merrimack River in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, this 93-acre farm is a great outing for the whole family. Once we open for business, it’s time for you to start getting ready for your visit to the farm! As you know, we give our visitors a unique experience because you can do more than just pick your own fruit. Here’s a look at how you can get the most from your visit:

Check to See What’s in Season

During the course of the growing season, you will have the opportunity to pick a variety of different fruits. When we first open, strawberries will be available. As the season progresses you’ll be able to pick blueberries, cherries, peaches, apples, pumpkins, and even flowers! We will keep you updated about what’s available on our website. Check before you come so you can know what to expect!

Plan to Visit the Animals 

No trip to Parlee Farms will be complete without a stop to see our animals! This is a great experience for all ages because it gives you a chance to see farm animals in action. At Annie’s Animal Barnsyou can glimpse chickens, sheep, goats, and rabbits. You will also have the opportunity to feed and pet these animals. The highlight of the experience, though, is to watch the goats in action at Annie’s Goats in the Trees.

Have an Ice Cream Break

Besides picking fruit, you can also enjoy a delicious ice cream at our farm! This is an especially refreshing treat after you’re finished picking and want to eat a delicious snack before you head home. We have the ice cream delivered fresh to our farms on a regular basis. Eating ice cream is especially wonderful on a hot day!

Shop at the Farm Stand and Bakery

Our farm stand and bakery will also be a highlight of your trip. If you want to enjoy our delicious, fresh fruit but don’t want to pick it yourself, you can always stop in to buy some that we’ve picked for you. While here, you can also enjoy some of our baked treats, many of which are made with our own fresh fruit! For example, you won’t want to miss our freshly made donuts, which we make on a regular basis.

As you can see, there is more to do here than just picking fruit! You can also spend the day here enjoying all the activities. After your day of fun on the farm, you’re ready to take your goodies home and enjoy them! Take our fruit home to enjoy in its pure state, or try one of our recipes that you can find on our blog.
