Fall School Trip to Parlee Farms
We offer exciting Fall School Field Trips at our farm in Tyngsboro, MA (outside of Boston) which are designed for pre-school through 3rd grade children.
Our FALL SCHOOL TOURS are a great way for school children to enjoy a beautiful fall day in a country setting. Our farm tours are geared for pre-school through 3rd grade children. For fall school trips, we offer three packages with an age-appropriate explanation of our farming techniques on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
OUR 2024 FALL SCHOOL PACKAGE
Apple Trip (available September 17 – October 24, Tuesday – Thursday from 9am-11am)
- $7.75 per person (minimum 20 paying people per reservation)
- 1/4-peck bag for apple picking
- All of the activities listed below
- This trip takes about 1 hour to complete – please allow more time for large groups.
Pumpkin Trip (available October 16 – October 24, Tuesday – Thursday from 9am-11am)
- $7.75 per person (minimum 20 paying people per reservation)
- A small Sugar Pumpkin picked from our Pumpkin Patch & a bag for the child to carry the pumpkin home
- All of the activities listed below
- This trip takes about 1 hour to complete – please allow more time for large groups.
Combination Trip (available September 17 – October 24, Tuesday – Thursday from 9am-11am)
- $9.50 per person (minimum 20 paying people per reservation)
- 1/4-peck bag for apple picking
- A small Sugar Pumpkin picked from our Pumpkin Patch & a bag for the child to carry the pumpkin home
- All of the activities listed below
- This trip takes about 1-1/2 hours to complete – please allow more time for large groups.
Activities included in all the Trips
- Hayride around the farm
- Feed for Annie’s ‘Goats in the Trees’ and for our other goats, sheep, and chickens
- Use of our Picnic Area
- Use of The Sandbox
- Paid school staff (1 for every 10 students) can pick the same amount as the children without charge.
- All children are required to pay.
- Non-picking adults are welcome on the trip at no cost. If chaperones want to pick, the cost will be the same as for the children.
OPTIONS ~
- Apple Cider Donuts – our very popular mini donuts made before your eyes!
- $0.80 each ~ please reserve at least two days before your trip
- Apple Cider & Apple Cider Donut ~ small cup of pasteurized apple cider and our apple cider mini donut
- $1.50 per person ~ please reserve at least two days before your trip

- Due to the popularity of our pick your own fruits, we are no longer able to offer nor permit Birthday Parties or Summer School/Camp Field Trips at the farm. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
