Parlee Farms has been growing strawberries for over thirty years, and as part of our 39th season, we are excited to share with you our crop for the 2026 growing season! With our opening day fast approaching, this means that our strawberry patches will be ready to go. You can either pick your own, or buy or already picked strawberries from the farm stand. 
We pride ourselves on selecting the best varieties for you to pick and enjoy. Here’s a look at some of the strawberries we have available this year. Please check Today’s Farm News for updates on what’s available before you come:
Evelyn
Evelyn is an early-season variety known for producing attractive, bright red berries with excellent flavor. The fruit is firm, juicy, and perfect for enjoying fresh, making it a great way to kick off strawberry season at the farm.
Kate
Kate produces large, flavorful berries with a beautiful deep red color. This variety is known for its reliable yields and sweet taste, making it a favorite among families looking to pick plenty of strawberries to take home.
Jewel
Jewel has been one of our most popular varieties over the years, and this year promises to be no different. Known for its large size, rich red color, and exceptional flavor, Jewel consistently produces beautiful berries that are perfect for fresh eating. Its firm texture also makes it an excellent choice for baking, freezing, and preserving.
Valley Sunset
Valley Sunset is a newer variety that produces large, attractive berries with a sweet, balanced flavor. It ripens later in the season, helping to extend our strawberry harvest and giving visitors more opportunities to enjoy fresh-picked fruit.
Keepsake
Keepsake is prized for its outstanding flavor and attractive appearance. The berries are firm, sweet, and aromatic, making them a wonderful choice for fresh snacking, desserts, and sharing with family and friends.
Dickens
Dickens is a late-season variety that produces large, flavorful berries with excellent sweetness. Its strong production and high-quality fruit help keep our strawberry season going, providing delicious berries right through the end of the harvest. Expect this variety to be ready later in the summer.
